A Blogger Friend's New Bookish Shoppe!

By Wednesday, December 09, 2015 ,

Hello all! Today I’m taking the opportunity to make a shameless plug for one of my favorite book bloggers, Jamie Lapeyrolerie, over at Books and Beverages! Like me, she dreams of having a library like the one in Beauty and the Beast and is an avid fan of C.S. Lewis and his land of Narnia. This week, she has opened a brand new online shop that is the bookish person’s dream. As an excited member of her launch team, I got a few of her goodies in the mail and am delighted with them! Narnia, Middle-Earth, and all-around bookishness abound. Here are a few of my favorite items! Read up and then go check out Books and Beverages – the Shoppe. If you love reading or those guys who wrote Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia, you’ll be right at home.

“For the Love of Literature” Postcards
As you can see, I made quick work of displaying one of these. That quote of C.S. Lewis on fairytales is a longtime favorite, so I love being able to see it every day now! These postcards are thick and sturdy, unlike the flimsy ones you’d find in a gift shop, and they’re perfect for displaying or for mailing. I’ve not yet decided if I’ll send them out to a friend, so for now I’m content to see their lovely selves in my room every day.

Narnia and Lord of the Rings Themed Bookmarks and Stickers
The stickers are the ones with square corners and the bookmark has the rounded corners. I love these quotes and illustrations on them! In particular, I’ve always really liked that Narnia quote about how Aslan isn’t safe, but good. I’m still looking for the perfect place to stick these stickers. Can’t choose too carefully on those! And of course, I couldn’t ever have too many bookmarks! I like the smaller size of this one too. It’ll be a nice addition to my already large collection :)

The Book Blogger’s Planner
To be honest, this is so pretty I’m almost afraid to write anything in it! But it’s perfect for people who write about a lot of books, so I’ll certainly be trying to crack it open and figure out a system for using it pretty soon here. And I just love the illustration on the front and the fun, handwriting-ish type font.

Those are just a few of the things Jamie’s been hard at work to get ready! There’s so much more to look through on there, and so many things would make perfect gifts for the book lovers in your life. Hop on over to the Shoppe and check it out, and be sure to hang around her blog for a little while to talk stories. She’s great at garnering awesome discussions about so many wonderful books.
